With an average female height of 1.67m (5'6") among its population, Czech Republic has been a big exporter for generations of female models around the world.
Most famous of all is Eva Herzigova, Blond hair, green eyes, 1m80 (5'11") born in 1973. Her career was launched by Wonderbra company (Yes, she has some arguments !)
Other famous beauties are: dark-haired tigress Iva Kubelkova (1977), the sulphurous Alena Seredova (1978), Sports Illustrated pinup Petra Nemcova (1979), angel face Helena Houdova (1979), 2006 ex Miss World Tatana Kucharova (1987), and many more !

But the modeling scene is not the only area where Czech women are well represented.
As for Men, Czechoslovakia (gathering of Czech Republic and Slovakia until they split in 1993), has produced a number of Tennis famous female champions : Martina Navratilova, Jana Novotna, Helena Sukova and the more recent Wimbledon 2011 winner: Petra Kvitova.

Besides, some women have changed their native name and might not give any clue about their czech origins. It is the case of well mediatized Madeleine Albright who was actually born in Prague, in 1937.
